Fedele's piece is gorgeously atmospheric. I love how he framed the night sky with the ornate filigree of the bills inner design.

This whimsical piece is Paul D'Agostino's. The writing on the bill reads "Funny, really, ours terms of reference for currency, markets and the like: inflate, deflate, expand, contract, bloat, float...balloon."

Jeff Faerber is a very talented and funny person, it's clearly shows here in his dollar bill. You don't need me to tell you this piece is awesome.  I think it speaks for itself.

Paul's collaged dollar just arrived!
It refreshing to see someone else instead of GW. I wish all money had images of badass Grandmas. I like the reference to the to the Masonic Eye that normally appears on the reverse side of the bill.  So Good.

Rachel Pontious

Believe it or not, Rachel Pontious, found this dollar sitting between two floor boards. It had fallen into the crack quite some time ago. It had lived its life there listening to arguments in the kitchen, hearing small trucks rolling around the living room floor, and desperate sighs from one of the bed rooms at night. Now these 3, all grown up, don't even remember looking like this.. don't even remember themselves.. don't even remember this dollar.

..sniff.. sniff... (stupid tears).. well ..

that's at least what I just made up right now! Cause Rachel's painting is so damn good!

LK Hickman is a strong moving force in the indie film community here in New York and abroad and we are Honored to have her a submit dollar!  Conceptually complex & inspired by the fiscal secrets of the recession, LK sewed a Dollar into a pillow and placed secrets of a fictional prominent business man as the stuffing.  Only from the mind of a writer and film producer! Brilliant!!
